Download our free Bootcamp business plan template below. It’s a free template that lays out all the necessary steps to starting a bootcamp. Making sure you cross your T’s and dot your I’s is essential to the success of your business. It’s a great business plan sample to base your own business plan off of. Simply answer the questions, honestly, and you should start to see if owning a fitness boot camp is a good financial choice for you and your parter (if you have one).

There are a lot of questions you need to ask yourself when you’re starting a fitness bootcamp. The business plan and marketing template at the bottom of this page will help you understand exactly what you need to think about before starting your bootcamp business. Once again, answer the questions honestly and evaluate if you’re ready to become a bootcamp business owner. It’s easy to lie to yourself when filling out the business plan, but lying to yourself is only harming your future business success. Not everyone is cut out to be a business owner, and you need to make sure you’re pursuing the correct path.

Below is a 4-page PDF bootcamp business & marketing plan template that we put together for all you future studio owners out there. Print it out and give it a workout (so to speak). It’s not 100% complete (since good business plans are always evolving), but it will give you a good sample fitness business template to get started with. If you’re looking for an easier way to get started, simply download the business plan, upload it into Google Apps, and then you can answer the questions right there. Open the document up for sharing, and you can have your partners include their answers, etc.

There’s currently a very small section on marketing your indoor/outdoor bootcamp. We feel this area should be increased a bit, but marketing is definitely something that is left up to the owners and managers. What works for one business might not work for another. Figure out your marketing plan by seeing what local gyms around you are doing. Follow their lead and create a similar bootcamp marketing plan for your own business.

On a sidenote, if you’re looking for a way to increase your business’s membership, check out the FitnessTexter video below. FitnessTexter is guaranteed to get you more fitness members.

What Is FitnessTexter?

FitnessTexter turns your business name into a custom texting code that you can put on anything; website, Facebook page, Instagram pictures, business cards, marketing flyers, email signatures, anything!

When someone texts your code to 95577, the person receives a “Free Week Pass” coupon to your gym, and you(the gym owner) get an email with that person’s contact info. Coupon is customizable: “Free Week Pass”, “Free Intro Session”, etc.

FitnessTexter has been really great for driving traffic to our Boot Camp programs. It’s a great way to get people to try out what we have to offer, without devaluing our services. We did a few daily deal sites a couple of years ago, and while they drove lots of people to our boot camps, the retention wasn’t nearly as good as we’ve found with FitnessTexter. We won’t do a daily deal ever again, but we’ll stick with FitnessTexter. Thanks!

The business plan template is 100% free to download, no strings attached. Our goal is to increase the number of bootcamp businesses in the USA. The more bootcamps there are, the more potential client we have to work with. That said, all we ask is that you keep FitnessTexter in mind when you start advertising and marketing your bootcamp.

Enjoy!
