Fitness businesses use FitnessTexter to send out a text message coupon to interested potential clients. When someone texts a gym’s keyword to 95577, here’s what happens:

1. The end-user (the person who texted the keyword to 95577) will get a text message coupon(and bring a friend offer) to the gym. Sending this text message is the same as sending a text message to a friend. FitnessTexter is not a premium texting service. Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on the end-user’s mobile phone plan. At the same time, the gym owner will get an email from FitnessTexter with the end-user’s phone number. This is called a sales lead email. The gym owner or their staff is allowed to call the end-user about the promotional deal they signed up for. They are NOT allowed to robocall the end-user or talk to the end-user about any other promotion besides the one the end user signed up for.

If a gym owner or their staff contacts you about something other than the promotion you signed up for, please contact info@boostfitnessmarketing.dream.press or call 303-223-5924 and report the business. We will contact the business and remind them they are breaking the law.

2. The end-user will receive 1 text message reminder in the future, 3 days after signing up. This reminder is solely for reminding the end-user about the promotion for which they signed up for and are not for advertising anything new.

After the reminder text messages, the end-user will not receive any more text messages from FitnessTexter. We do not allow clients to “mass text” people with our system. It’s purely for sending out a one-time coupon and 1 reminder message.

If you received a message from 95577 that was not from a fitness business, it was sent from another company, not FitnessTexter LLC. FitnessTexter doesn’t allow users to send text messages to lists of contacts. You cannot upload contacts or “build lists” using FitnessTexter. Only 3 outbound messages get sent regarding the gym’s deal. That’s it. FitnessTexter LLC neither provides lists of phone numbers nor do we access our clients’ contact lists. FitnessTexter is a 100% opt-in service.
